How To Make Poached Pears with Yogurt
Grab a bite of these decadent poached pears simmered in fruity juices! It’s a tasty and naturally healthy dessert that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
In a small pan over medium-high heat, bring the apple juice, pomegranate juice, orange rind and cinnamon stick to a boil.
Place pears face down in the pan.
Lower the heat and simmer gently for 10 to 20 minutes until a knife inserted into the pears meets no resistance, spooning the sauce over the pears as they cook.
Once the pears are tender, remove from heat and let cool.
Over medium-low heat, reduce the remaining poaching liquid to a glaze for 7 to 8 minutes.
Pour the glaze over the pears. Refrigerate to chill.
Place ½ pear on each dish, top with a dollop of yogurt over each, and enjoy!
