How To Make Pineapple Cheese Ball

Tangy, salty and a sweet are what you'll be expecting from a bite out of this festive holiday munchkin.

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz crushed pineapple , in juice , well drained
  • 1 tbsp green bell pepper, finely chopped (use red for Christmas!)
  • 1 tbsp celery, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp onion, finely chopped
  • cup pecans, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • dash hot sauce, optional


  1. Fold pineapple, bell pepper, celery, onion and ⅓ cup chopped pecans into cream cheese.

  2. Add salt and hot sauce.
  3. Form mixture into a ball; chill for ½ hour.

  4. After ball is firm, roll in remaining pecans to cover.
  5. Chill cheese ball overnight before serving.
