  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, maple syrup, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Stir until the apples are well coated.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix the oats, almond flour, walnuts, coconut oil, and salt.

  4. Spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish. Sprinkle the oat topping over the apples.

  5. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

  6. Allow the apple crisp to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm.
