How To Make Drunken Rum Apples (Famous Dave’s® Copycat)

- 7granny smith apples,cored and sliced
- 2cupswhite sugar
- 2tbspground cinnamon
- 1tbspground nutmeg
- ¼cupspiced rum
Instructions

Stir the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a large saucepan. Pour the rum into apple mixture and stir until apples are evenly coated and a thick sauce forms.

Bring the apple mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook, stirring frequently, for about 20 minutes, until apples are soft.
