How To Make Brown Sugar Cinnamon Baked Apples

For a simple dessert with just five ingredients, whip up these sweet baked apple! The slices of fruit are mixed with cinnamon for an easy fall treat.

Ingredients

  • 6cupsapples,sliced and peeled
  • cupbrown sugar
  • 1tbspcinnamon
  • 1tbsplemon juice
  • ¼cupbutter,cubed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, add the sliced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice and mix until incorporated.

  3. Place in a 9×13-inch pan or 2-quart casserole dish. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the apples are tender. Stir once in between.

  4. Serve with ice cream or as a topping.
