Quick And Easy Pumpkin Pie Recipe

If using fresh pumpkin, avoid using the leftovers from that jack-o-lantern and opt for a sugar pumpkin instead.


How To Make Quick And Easy Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup pumpkin , or squash, canned or cooked
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 12 oz evaporated milk
  • 1 pie shell, unbaked

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, sugar, salt, spices and molasses. Add eggs and milk and mix thoroughly.

  3. Pour into unbaked pie shell and place it over a pie pan and bake at 425 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes.

  4. Let cool. Serve with Whip cream.
