  • 1 ready-made pie crust
  • 4 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.

  3. Layer the sliced kiwi fruit in the pie crust.

  4. Mix together sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.

  5. Add water and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

  6. Add green food coloring (optional).

  7. Pour the mixture over the kiwi fruit in the pie crust.

  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

  9. Cool to room temperature before serving.
