Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Pie Recipe

This is a fun pie to make for kids because the crust is made out of chocolate chip cookie dough!


This recipe makes a tasty cookie pie with a twist using peanut butter as the main ingredient instead of chocolate. It is easy to make and perfect for your kids.

Ingredients

  • 18 oz Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough, refrigerated
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp butter, softened
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
  • 16 pecan halves, optional

Instructions

  1. Press cookie dough in the bottom of an ungreased 10-inch springform pan.

  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 14 to 18 minutes until golden brown.

  3. Cool for 15 minutes.

  4. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, butter, and water.

  5. Mix well.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of mixture over baked cookie crust, press evenly to cover crust.

  7. Spread melted chocolate chips over the peanut butter mixture.

  8. Swirl chocolate with a fork.

  9. Garnish with pecan halves.

  10. Refrigerate for 1 hour until chocolate is set.
