How To Make Blueberry Pie
Have a piece of this blueberry pie recipe. Tart blueberries on a crumbly crust and spiced with cinnamon for a sweet and cozy pie.
Ingredients
- 1⅓ cups sugar
- ¼ cup quick-cooking tapioca
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 1 premade pie crust
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ stick butter, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl combine the sugar, tapioca, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add blueberries and gently stir. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and brown sugar together. Add the butter and continue to blend until mixture has a crumbly texture.
- Pour the pie mixture on your ready-made crust. Top it off with the crumbly mixture.
- Cover the top with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then remove foil and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes. Serve.
