
How To Make Apple Crisp Pie
This apple crisp pie is an irresistible treat that easily satisfies the palate, loaded with cinnamon and crisp apples, and topped with a crunchy crumble.

Ingredients
- 1pie crust
For Apple Filling:
- 3lbsgolden delicious apples,sliced
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 1¼tspground cinnamon
- pinchground nutmeg
- ¼cupunsalted butter
- ¾cupgranulated sugar
- ¼cuplight brown sugar,loosely measured
- 2tspvanilla extract
- ¼tspallspice
- ¼tspground cloves
- ¾cupall-purpose flour
- ¾cuprolled oats
- 1large egg
- 2butter sticks
For Crumble:
- 1½cupsflour
- ¾cupgranulated sugar
- ¾cuplight brown sugar,packed
- ½tspkosher salt
- 1cuprolled oats
- 2unsalted butter sticks,diced
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Filling:

Add the apples, lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, nutmeg, and butter to a large skillet.

Cook on medium for about 5 to 7 minutes or until the apples are just wilted and have released their juices. Drain the apple in a colander back into the skillet then put the apples into a bowl.

Cook the remaining juices down into a syrup the consistency of honey.

Add the reduced syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, allspice, cloves, all-purpose flour, ¾ cup of rolled oats, and egg. Mix well and add to pie crust.
Crumble:

Combine the flour, granulate sugar, brown sugar, kosher salt, rolled oats, and butter. Mash together with hands into small clusters.

Add crumble to the top of the filling. Bake for about 50 minutes.
