How To Make Jamaican Jerk Chicken

- 4 chicken legs
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, Jamaican jerk seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, allspice, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lime juice.

Place chicken legs and thighs in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the chicken. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

Grill chicken for 20-25 minutes per side, or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
