Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Heat the cast iron skillet on medium-high heat and add the oil.

  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.

  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger.

  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and toss to coat.

  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

  8. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
