Juicy chicken seasoned with pesto sauce and cooked to perfection in a cast iron skillet.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of pesto sauce
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. In an oven-safe cast iron skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

  4. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until browned.

  5. Spread pesto sauce evenly over the chicken breasts.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.

  7. Once done, remove skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
