Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 lb deli ham, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.

  3. Stuff each chicken breast with ham and gruyere cheese.

  4. Season each chicken breast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  7. Transfer chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
