How To Make Minced Pork and Watermelon Lettuce Wraps
One bite of these lettuce wraps holds a sweet and juicy surprise! Ground pork, watermelon, carrots, and more are snugged in lettuce for a flavorful plate.

Ingredients
- 1tbspvegetable oil
- 1tbspgarlic,minced
- 1tbspginger root,fresh, minced
- 1onion,finely chopped
- 1lblean ground pork
- 1carrot,finely chopped
- 2celery stalks,finely chopped
- 1tspsoy sauce
- ½cupgreen onion,chopped
- ½cuphoisin sauce
- ¾cuppine nuts
- 2cupswatermelon,diced ½-inch
- 12iceberg lettuce leaves
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a heavy, non-stick skillet over high heat.

Cook and stir the garlic, ginger, and onion in the hot oil for 1 minute until fragrant; add the ground pork to the mixture and cook for 7 to 10 minutes until completely browned. Drain any excess liquid from the skillet.

Reduce the heat to medium. Add the carrot and celery to the pork mixture; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until the carrot and celery begin to soften.

Stir the soy sauce and green onions into the pork mixture; remove the skillet from the heat and add the hoisin sauce and pine nuts. Stir the mixture until evenly mixed. Fold the watermelon into the mixture.

Spoon the pork mixture into the middle of the lettuce leaves.

Wrap the lettuce around the filling then serve.
