
How To Make IHOP Swedish Crepes (Copycat)

Ingredients
For Crepes:
- 1½ cups flour
- 1¾ cups milk
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup beer
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- butter, for greasing pan
For Toppings:
- butter
- lingonberry jam
- powdered sugar, optional
Instructions
- To create the batter, in a mixing bowl whisk together flour, milk, eggs, beer, sugar, and salt. Mix well until smooth and no lumps remain.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter. Pour ¾ cup batter into the center of the skillet. Swirl batter around to cover the bottom of the skillet in a thin layer. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until crepe is dry on top.
- Shake pan to free crepe and then flip to the other side. Heat for another 30 seconds and transfer to a plate.
- Fold the crepe in half and then in half again. Top with whipped butter, and lingonberry jam. Sprinkle powdered sugar if desired.
