This lamb gyro is a savory Greek wrap of pita bread filled with lamb meat, lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki sauce. Serve up a plate for your next lunch meal!

- ½tspoil
- 2pita bread slices
For Toppings:
- 2tbspfeta cheese
- 2Campari tomato,sliced
- ⅓cuplettuce,chopped
- ¼red onion,sliced
- Tzatziki sauce
For Homemade Gyro Meat:
- ½lbground lamb
- 1tspsalt
- ¼onion,grated on small holes
- ¼tspground pepper
- 1garlic clove,minced
- 1tspItalian Seasoning
- 1tspoil,for cooking
Instructions

Toast the pitas in a toaster or oven until heated.
Homemade Gyro Meat:

In a bowl, combine the lamb, salt, onion, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning, then shape the meat into a thin patty.

Heat the oil in a skillet, then once hot, add the patty. Cook until browned, then flip the patty and cook on the other side.

Once cooked, break up the meat into thin long strands.

Add the meat to the pita bread, then top with feta cheese, Tzatziki sauce, or other desired toppings. Enjoy!
