
How To Make Basil Chicken Stir Fry
Grab a bite of this fresh chicken stir fry for lunch! It’s got tasty leaves of basil and spinach for a richer stir fry meal.

Ingredients
- 1tbspsoy sauce
- 2tbspwater
- 1tbspwhite sugar
- 2lbschicken breast,halves, skinless, boneless, cut into small pieces
- 4tbspvegetable oil,divided
- 5green onions,sliced
- 3garlic cloves,chopped
- 12ozfresh baby spinach leaves
- 1cupfresh basil,thinly sliced
Instructions

Combine the soy sauce, water, and sugar in a bowl.

Marinate the chicken in soy sauce mixture for 30 minutes.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

Cook and stir green onions in oil for 1 minute.

Add garlic, then cook and stir for 1 minute. Transfer to a small bowl.

Pour 3 tablespoons of oil into the skillet.

Cook and stir the chicken and marinade for 5 minutes, until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear.

Add spinach leaves to chicken.

Cover for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir green onion mixture into chicken and spinach.

Cook to reheat onions for 1 to 2 minutes.

Stir in basil, then cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until heated.
