How To Make Pork and Broccoli Stir Fry

This 15-minute stir fry recipe is definitely something to keep handy. The tenderloin pork and broccoli are brightened up with orange zest and juice.

Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
Total: 15 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2tsporange zest,grated
  • ½cupfresh orange juice
  • ½cupsoy sauce
  • ½cuprice vinegar
  • 2tbspcornstarch
  • 3tspvegetable oil
  • 1lbpork tenderloin,quartered and thinly sliced
  • 1tspgarlic,minced
  • 3scallions,white and (green parts separated and thinly sliced)
  • 1lbhead of broccoli,cut into bite-size florets, stalks peeled and thinly sliced
  • ½cupchicken broth

Instructions

  1. Combine orange zest, juice, soy sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch in a medium bowl; set aside.

  2. In a large skillet on medium, heat oil. Cook pork pieces in oil for 1to 2 minutes, until browned on one side. Move to a plate and set aside; reserve skillet.

  3. In reserved skillet add garlic and scallion whites. Cook 1 to 2 minutes until scallions wilt, stirring occasionally. Add broccoli and ½ cup water to skillet. Cover and cook 2 to 4 minutes, until broccoli is crisp-tender.

  4. Add pork and stir-fry sauce into the skillet. Cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring until pork is cooked through and sauce has thickened.

  5. Top with scallion greens.
