Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.

  2. Add garlic and onion, sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add beef and cook until browned.

  4. Add bell peppers and carrot, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.

  6. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir to coat the beef and vegetables evenly.

  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  8. Garnish with chopped green onions.

  9. Serve hot with steamed rice.
