How To Make 10-Minute Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garnish with sesame seeds and green onions

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.

  3. Add beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. Add broccoli, bell peppers, carrot, and onion. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.

  6. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients.

  7. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, if desired.

  8. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
