How To Make Slow Cooker Short Ribs

Complete your dining table with this fall-off-the-bone slow cooker short ribs with veggies. Spiced with bbq sauce, brown sugar, cayenne, cumin, and oregano.

Ingredients

  • 2lbshort ribs,bone-in
  • 1lbbaby potato
  • 1pinchsalt
  • 1onion,cut in half
  • 4large garlic cloves
  • 1lbbaby carrots
  • 1lbgreen beans

For Spice Mix:

  • 1cupBBQ sauce
  • 1tbspbrown sugar
  • 1tspcayenne pepper
  • 1tspcumin
  • 1tspdried oregano
  • ½tspsalt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, and ½ teaspoon of salt until well combined.

  2. Place bone-in short ribs in the bottom of a 6-quart (6 liters) slow cooker.

  3. Add the spice mix over the meat.

  4. Throw in the baby potatoes and add a pinch of salt, onion, garlic, and baby carrots.

  5. Cover and cook on low heat for about 7 to 8 hours, or high for about 3 to 4 hours.

  6. Add green beans during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
