
How To Make Pork Hocks
These pork hocks are slow-cooked to tender perfection. It's a great warming dish for chilly nights and perfect for family meals.
Ingredients
- 3 lb pork hock, pata, sliced
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 2 pcs potatoes, cubed
- 1 pc green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 pcs carrots, sliced
- 1 pc beef cube
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp granulated white sugar.
- 1⁄4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 pc yellow onion, minced
- 3 pcs bay leaves, dried
- salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Start with the pork hocks, tomato sauce, bell pepper, tomato, carrots, and the rest of the ingredients.
- Cook in a slow cooker or crock pot for at least 8 hours. Add salt to taste.
- Remove from the slow cooker. Transfer to a serving bowl.
- Serve with warm white rice.
