How To Make Pork Hocks

These pork hocks are slow-cooked to tender perfection. It's a great warming dish for chilly nights and perfect for family meals.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb pork hock, pata, sliced
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 pcs potatoes, cubed
  • 1 pc green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 pcs carrots, sliced
  • 1 pc beef cube
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp granulated white sugar.
  • 1⁄4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pc yellow onion, minced
  • 3 pcs bay leaves, dried
  • salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker. Start with the pork hocks, tomato sauce, bell pepper, tomato, carrots, and the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Cook in a slow cooker or crock pot for at least 8 hours. Add salt to taste.
  3. Remove from the slow cooker. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  4. Serve with warm white rice.
  5. Share and enjoy!
