Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.

  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops on both sides until browned. Transfer to a slow cooker.

  3. Add the sliced onion, sauerkraut, chicken broth, and brown sugar to the slow cooker. Mix well.

  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4 hours, or until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.

  5. Serve the pork chops with sauerkraut and enjoy!
