How To Make Slow Cooker Crack Chicken

Crack chicken or cheddar ranch chicken is a sumptuous dish with cream cheese, bacon bits, and cheddar. Everything is slow-cooked until tender and tasty.

Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking: 6 hours
Total: 6 hours 10 minutes



  • 3lbschicken breasts,boneless skinless
  • 2packetsdry ranch seasoning,or Homemade Ranch Seasoning
  • 14ozcream cheese
  • 6slicesbacon,cooked and crumbled
  • 1cupcheddar cheese
  • green onions,chopped for garnish


  1. In a slow cooker add the chicken to the bottom. Sprinkle with dry ranch seasoning. Top with cream cheese. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or High for 4 hours long.

  2. Shred the chicken with two forks. Top with bacon and sprinkle with cheese.

  3. Cover until melted. Serve on buns, over rice and garnish with green onions.
