
How To Make Slow Cooker Chile-Lime Chicken
Sink your teeth into this tender chile lime chicken! It’s has sweet and spicy notes from the honey and adobo sauce, then slow-cooked to juicy perfection.

Ingredients
- 7ozchipotle peppers in adobo sauce,(1 can)
- 1cuplime juice
- 2tbsphoney
- 2tbspdried cilantro
- 2tbsponion powder
- 1tbspgarlic powder
- 3tspchili powder
- 2tspground black pepper
- 1tspcayenne pepper
- 1tspsalt
- 6chicken breasts,skinless boneless, or more to taste
Instructions

Combine the chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, lime juice, honey, cilantro, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne, and salt in a blender or food processor and puree, making sure the chipotle chiles are chopped very fine.

Place a layer of chicken in a slow cooker, then cover with about ½ of the liquid mixture.

Add in the remaining chicken, then pour the remaining liquid over top.

Cover and cook on Low for 6 hours or on High for 3 hours, until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and juices run clear.

Turn off the heat, then let rest for at least 15 minutes.
