How To Make Slow Cooker Bolognese
Hot stews and pot roasts are just some of the deletcable meals you get out of a slow cooker. It takes a bit of patience but it’s worth every meat-melting bite. You’ll enjoy the cooking as well as the eating with these slow cooker recipes.

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, finely diced
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- cooked spaghetti or pasta, for serving
Instructions

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Transfer the cooked beef to a slow cooker.

Add the onion, garlic, carrot, celery, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, beef broth, dried basil, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.

Cover and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours, or until the flavors meld together and the sauce thickens.

Serve the slow cooker Bolognese sauce over cooked spaghetti or pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
