Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices and separated into rings
  • cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup spicy brown mustard , or country-style Dijon mustard
  • 3 lbs country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat, cut into 3-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Place onion rings in 3 ½ to 4-quart slow cooker.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the syrup and mustard. Mix until well-combined.

  3. Evenly spread the mixture over the ribs. Place the coated ribs over onion.

  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on a low setting for 8 hours.
