How To Make Stuffed Shells Recipe

Ingredients
- 24 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add spinach and cook for another 2 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat.

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir in the cooked spinach mixture.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the cheese and spinach mixture and place them in the baking dish.

Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
