How To Make Ground Beef and Cabbage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain fat.

  3. Add cabbage, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.

  4. Add diced tomatoes and rice to the skillet. Stir well.

  5. Pour beef broth into the skillet. Stir until combined.

  6. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
