How To Make Egg, Bacon, and Cheese Bagel Bake

Enjoy the ultimate breakfast dish with a heavenly cheese bagel bake that’s made with eggs and bacon for a filling casserole that’s perfect for the family.

  • 12eggs,divided
  • 2cupsmilk
  • tspsalt
  • ½tspblack pepper
  • 16ozbacon
  • 2cupscheddar cheese,shredded
  • 8large bagels


  1. Cook bacon on high heat until they have a nice color but not thoroughly cooked, the rest will bake through in the oven.

  2. Remove from pan, let cool and slice into chunks.

  3. Drain all but about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat and heat the pan on medium-high.

  4. Break 6 eggs into a bowl, add them to the pan and poke the yolks.

  5. Stir a bit just to spread the yolks around a bit.

  6. Cook until just set and remove from pan.

  7. Spray either a cast-iron skillet or 8×8-inch pan with cooking spray.

  8. Cut the bagels into chunks and toast at 375 degrees F for about 7 to 9 minutes until slightly browned and crispy.

  9. Whisk the rest of the eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.

  10. Add toasted bagel chunks, eggs, bacon, and cheese in layers to your pan.

  11. Pour the egg mixture over it evenly.

  12. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.

  13. Serve and enjoy.
