How To Make Creamy Baked Tortellini

A creamy baked tortellini casserole dish fit for any season! This amazing dish is oozing with cheese, perfectly cooked pasta, and bursting with flavor!

Total: 35 minutes



  • 20ozcheese tortellinirefrigerated
  • 2cupshamchopped
  • 2tbspbutter
  • 2garlic clovesminced
  • ½tspdried basil
  • 1tbspall-purpose flour
  • salt & pepperto taste
  • 1⅔cupswhole milk
  • cupssharp cheddar cheeseshredded, divided
  • ½cupparmesan cheesegrated
  • 1cupgreen peasfrozen, defrosted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook tortellini according to package directions.

  3. Combine butter, garlic and basil in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes or until fragrant.

  4. Add flour and seasonings. Cook 1 minute. Stir in milk a little at a time until smooth. Bring to a boil while stirring over medium heat.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese until smooth and melted.

  6. Combine tortellini, sauce, ham, and green peas in a 9×13-inch pan. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and bake uncovered, 15 to 20 minutes.
