  • 6medium potatoes,baked, or boiled
  • ¼cupbutter
  • 4ozcream cheese,softened
  • cupsour cream
  • ½cupmilk,or cream, add more or less to taste
  • ½tspgarlic powder
  • 1tbspfresh parsley,chopped
  • 2cupscheddar cheese,shredded
  • 2green onions,thinly sliced
  • 10bacon slices,cooked, crumbled
  • salt and pepper,to taste

For Toppings:

  • 1green onion,sliced
  • 2bacon slices,cooked, crumbled
  • ½cupcheddar cheese


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Mash the warm baked or boiled potatoes with a potato masher. Add the butter, cream cheese, and sour cream.

  3. Mash while adding the milk, a little at a time, until a creamy consistency is reached.

  4. Stir in the garlic powder, parsley, cheddar cheese, green onions, bacon, salt, and pepper, then spread into a 2-quart casserole dish.

  5. Sprinkle with green onions, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the potatoes are hot.

  6. Serve warm, and enjoy!
