How To Make Cheesy Chicken and Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

Gradually whisk in the milk and chicken broth until smooth. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.

In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the cooked chicken, broccoli, and cheddar cheese. Pour half of the sauce over the layers.

Repeat the layers with the remaining chicken, broccoli, and sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
