Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup mustard
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.

  3. Stir in salt, black pepper, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, diced pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Cook for an additional 3 minutes, until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.

  5. Arrange frozen tater tots evenly over the top of the beef mixture.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
