How To Make Caramel Apple Overnight French Toast Casserole

Wake up to this french toast casserole and have a great start to your day. It has warm apples, a drizzling of caramel, and cinnamon swirl bread.

Ingredients

  • 1canLUCKY LEAF® premium caramel apple fruit filling & topping
  • ½cuppecans,chopped
  • 1cancaramel sweetened condensed milk
  • 7cupscinnamon swirl bread,thick sliced, cubed
  • 6largeeggs
  • ½tspvanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.

  2. Add fruit filling to the bottom of the pan.

  3. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

  4. Pour half a cup caramel sweetened condensed milk over fruit and nuts, reserving the rest of the can.

  5. Add cubed bread over fruit.

  6. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, remaining sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Pour evenly over bread cubes. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit overnight in refrigerator.

  7. When ready to bake, remove from fridge and let sit while preheating oven to 35 degrees F. Remove plastic wrap and bake for 45 minutes.

  8. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting.
