How To Make Broccoli Chicken Divan
Enjoy a hearty serving of our chicken divan loaded with tasty broccoli for dinner tonight! It’s served with a creamy sauce for a tastier meal.
- 1½lbsbroccoli,fresh, cut into bite sized pieces
- 3cupschicken,cooked, cubed
- 1½cupscheddar cheese,shredded, divided
- ⅔cupsour cream
- 10.5ozcondensed cream of mushroom,1 can, or chicken soup
- ½tspgarlic powder
- ½tsponion powder
- ½tspdry mustard
- ¼tspseasoning salt
- 3tbsppanko bread crumbs
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Place the broccoli in a large pot boiling water, then cook for 2 to 3 minutes or just until tender crisp. Drain well.
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of cheddar cheese, milk, condensed soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, pepper, and seasoning salt.
Stir in the broccoli and chicken, then spread it into a 3-quart casserole dish or a 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with the remaining cheese.
In a small bowl, mix the butter and bread crumbs.
Sprinkle the bread crumb topping over the chicken mixture.
Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are lightly browned, and the mixture is bubbly and hot.
Serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes, and enjoy!
