How To Make Beefy and Cheesy Macaroni Casserole
This macaroni casserole is a delectably hearty meal! It’s loaded with tender pasta and beef simmered in savory tomato, then baked for a richer dish.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Cook the noodles for ¾ of the time according to package. Drain and rinse under cold water.
Meanwhile, brown the beef, garlic, and onion in a frying pan. Drain.
Combine the green peppers, beef, noodles, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and paste, basil, salt, pepper, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, and 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley. Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Combine the remaining cheeses and 1 tablespoon of parsley, then sprinkle them on top of the casserole.
Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is browned.
Serve warm, and enjoy!
