How To Make Southern Ground Beef and Bean Skillet

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.

Stir in black beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the flavors are well combined.

Sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
