Ingredients

  • 4chicken breasts,boneless skinless, thinly sliced
  • 2tbspolive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 3tbsphoney
  • 3tbspsoy sauce
  • 3tbspWorchestershire sauce
  • ½tspgarlic,minced
  • ½tspsalt
  • 8tbspbarbecue sauce
  • 1cupmonterey jack cheese,shredded
  • 8slicesapple-smoked bacon,cooked, crumbled
  • green onions,sliced
  • 1Roma tomato,diced

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, add the olive oil and salt and pepper the chicken. Cook the chicken on medium high heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until brown on each side and cooked until no longer pink in center. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.

  2. Add the honey, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and salt to the skillet and bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Add the chicken back to the skillet and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.

  3. Top with 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce, cheese, and smoked bacon. Continue to simmer until the cheese melts.

  4. Garnish with green onions and tomato, serve immediately, and enjoy!
