How To Make Skillet Fish Fillet in Tomato White Wine Sauce

Ingredients
- 2tspwhipped butter,or 1½ unsalted butter
- 2clovescrushed garlic
- ¼cupwhite wine,whatever you drink
- ½lemon,juiced
- ½cupmarinara sauce,homemade. or store bought
- 12ozfish fillets,(2 fillets), skin removed, such as Fluke, Flounder, Halibut, etc
- 2tspcapers
- kosher salt
- fresh black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for about 1 minute until golden.

Add the wine and lemon juice, and simmer for 30 to 60 seconds to reduce slightly.

Add the marinara sauce, then stir and place fish fillets on top. Season with salt, pepper and capers.

Cover and cook for 4 minutes over medium-low heat.

Turn and cook uncovered an additional 1 minute, or until the fish is cooked through.
