How To Make Salmon with Avocado Salsa

This easy pan-fried salmon dish is made special with creamy avocado salsa. It’s simple yet classy, you can have an exquisite dinner dish minus the effort.

Ingredients

  • 2tspolive oil
  • 4ozsalmon fillets
  • Salt and pepperto taste
  • 1mediumavocadopeeled, pitted and finely diced
  • ½cupred bell pepperfinely diced
  • 1tbspred onionfinely diced
  • 2tbspfresh cilantro leaveschopped
  • 1limejuiced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.

  2. Place the salmon, skin side up, in the pan. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

  3. While the salmon is cooking, prepare the avocado salsa.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the avocado, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro and lime juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper and stir gently until combined.

  5. Spoon the avocado salsa over the salmon fillets and serve immediately.
