How To Make Almondine
This 30-minute almondine recipe serves a bed of warm and crunchy green beans, made flavorful with garlic and butter, for a tasty side dish!

Ingredients
- 1lbfresh green beans
- 1½ozslivered almonds
- 2tbspsbutter
- 2garlic cloves,minced, or more to taste
- salt and ground black pepper,to taste
Instructions

Place the beans into a microwave-safe casserole dish with enough water to cover the bottom.

Microwave on High power for 8 to 10 minutes until almost tender. Drain in a colander and refresh under cold running water to keep the nice green color.

Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the almonds and cook for about 5 minutes, until just starting to turn golden, watching closely so as to not burn.

Take the pan off of the heat and add the butter to melt. Return to heat and add garlic.

Mix in the green beans, season with salt and pepper, and continue to stir for 5 to 7 minutes until heated through.
