How To Make Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon Dill Sauce

You won’t get enough of this tasty and perfectly flaky pan seared salmon served in a creamy lemon dill sauce, a dish of perfect balance and harmony!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1tbspolive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 6ozsalmon,(4 fillets)
  • 3clovesgarlic
  • 1cupheavy cream
  • ½cupchicken broth
  • lemon juice,(from1 lemon)
  • 1tspcornstarch
  • 1tbspwater
  • 1tbspfresh dill,chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat.

  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, and add to the skillet, skin-sized down.

  3. Heat for about 5 minutes and flip the salmon to the other side with a spatula.

  4. Cook for another 5 minutes until the salmon is brown and the center is slightly pink.

  5. Remove salmon and set aside on a plate.

  6. Add the garlic to the pan and cook until tender.

  7. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, and lemon juice.

  8. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water.

  9. Add to the sauce.

  10. Let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.

  11. Add the salmon back to the skillet and heat through.

  12. Add the fresh dill to the sauce, and serve.
