How To Make Mushroom Chicken Piccata
Classic chicken piccata is leveled up with a tasty addition of mushrooms! It’s cooked with a savory and tangy sauce for a richer and delectable meal.

Ingredients
- ½cupall purpose flour
- 1tspsalt
- ½tsppaprika
- 1egg
- 2tbspmilk
- 6chicken breast,halves, skinless boneless
- 4tbspbutter
- ½lbfresh mushrooms,sliced
- ¼cuponion,chopped
- 1cupchicken broth
- ½cupwhite wine
- 2tbsplemon juice
- 1tbspcornstarch
- 1tbspfresh parsley,chopped for garnish
Instructions

In a shallow dish or bowl, mix together the flour, salt and paprika. In a separate dish or bowl, mix together the egg and milk.

Dip the chicken pieces in egg mixture, then in the seasoned flour.

In a large skillet, heat butter or margarine over medium-high heat. Sauté chicken pieces until golden brown. Add the mushrooms and onion and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes.

In a medium bowl combine the broth, wine, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Mix together and pour mixture over chicken and mushrooms. Reduce the heat to medium-low.

Let the chicken mixture simmer for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve. Enjoy!
