How To Make Homemade Limantro Tofu

Limantro tofu is lime-cilantro tofu made with marinated tofu tossed with zesty lemon juice and cilantro cooked in a skillet until golden brown.

Total: 1 hour 20 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • ¼cupcilantro,chopped
  • 3garlic cloves,minced
  • 1lime,zested and juiced
  • tspsoy sauce
  • 1tspground cumin
  • ½tspbrown sugar
  • ½tspcayenne pepper
  • 12ozfirm tofu,(1 package) drained and cubed
  • 1tbspolive oil,or more if needed

Instructions

  1. Mix cilantro, garlic, lime zest and juice, soy sauce, cumin, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper in a bowl.

  2. Add tofu and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour to overnight. Remove tofu with a slotted spoon.

  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir marinated tofu until browned on all sides for 10 to 15 minutes.
