How To Make Curry Shrimp
A creamy and tangy sauce packed with hearty spices coats plump shrimp, luscious bacon, and fluffy rice in this flavorful curry shrimp dish!

Ingredients
- ½yellow onion,chopped or sliced
- ⅓pkgbacon
- 1bell pepper,any color
- 1lbshrimp
- 1cuprice,uncooked
- 2cupswater
- 8ozsour cream
- paprika
- curry powder
- cumin
- garlic,minced or garlic powder
- turmeric,optional
Instructions

Put 1 cup of rice in a pot, rinse 3 times, then add 2 cups of salted water. Boil on high heat, then reduce the heat until the water has evaporated.

Sauté the onions, bell pepper, and bacon in a pan on medium high until onions are transparent.

Boil the shrimp, if frozen, in water for 5 minutes. If cooked, add to the skillet as the onions become translucent. Season judiciously with desired amounts of curry powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic.

When cooked and translucent, add the sour cream and mix until the mixture becomes a gravy or sauce.

Serve shrimp and veggies atop a bed of rice, and enjoy!
