How To Make Ground Beef Enchiladas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent.

  3. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another minute to toast the spices.

  4. Add the tomato sauce to the skillet and stir until well combined.

  5. Place about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture onto each tortilla and roll it up tightly. Place the rolled enchiladas seam-side down in a baking dish.

  6. Pour any remaining beef mixture over the enchiladas. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. Serve the enchiladas hot and enjoy!
