Ingredients

  • 4 Nori sheets
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
  • 8 oz cooked shrimp, sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place a Nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat.

  2. Spread a thin layer of sushi rice onto the Nori sheet, leaving a small border at the top.

  3. Arrange avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapenos, and shrimp in a line in the center of the rice.

  4. Roll tightly using the bamboo mat, applying gentle pressure to keep the ingredients intact.

  5. Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.

  6. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
