These bacon appetizers are a hit! They are slightly crunchy and have a wonderful bacon flavor. (I usually make 2 pounds of these at a time because they go fast!)

How To Make Water Chestnut and Bacon Appetizers
Serve these crispy bacon appetizers at your next party. They're super easy to make and guests will surely love them.
Ingredients
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- soy sauce, for covering
- 1 package bacon
- Parmesan Cheese, shredded kind, for garnish
Instructions
- Line cookie sheets with foil for easy cleanup.
- Drain water chestnuts and place in bowl.

Add enough soy sauce to cover chestnuts.

Let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to marinate.
- Cut bacon slices into 3 slices each.
- Drain chestnuts.
- Place a chestnut on bacon slice and fold.

Put folded sides down on cookie sheet.

Place in oven at 350 degrees F. Bake until bacon is crisp and done.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
Recipe Notes
To keep warm, I put them in a crockpot on low. They don't burn. For 2 pounds of bacon, you will need 2 cans of water chestnuts.
